Company

We may be limited in the places we can walk in the summer heat, but we have no lack of company! Lately we have been joined by Pam and her mom, Jimmy, who is a great appreciator of the dogs, the sunshine, and most everything else. Yesterday she recited a few lines of John Denver's "Sunshine on my Shoulders," and then Adrienne sung a few more. If we'd had flags, we could have been a parade.

Here my mom is holding a clump of dog hair that I'd brushed off Longshanks while we sat in the shade. This after a Whatcom Community College employee (a fellow Corgi lover) came out and gave the dogs some treats. A good time was had by all!
