World Famous

No blips for a while, I've been hellishly busy doing not much, but today I escaped into Bury, and its world famous market.

I picked up a Shearings brochure at Tesco's, and there it was: 'Blackpool and Lancashire Delights'. Those unfortunates, stuck in rotting backwaters like Dorset or Devon, can board a bus, spend 4 nights in Blackpool for £309, and Bury Market is one of the 'included' trips. The other one is Fleetwood, home of the Fisherman's Friend lozenge.

I can see we're going to be inundated, come August. Black pudding or Devon cream tea? I know where I stand. You can't beat the Crumbly Lancashire, though, if cheese is your thing.
