Siblings
Took a snap of this snap.
We said farewell to uncle John Alfred today.
I wrote a poem and read it for him.
Playing dominoes and snap.
Coming home tipsy with dad from the pub... singing, always singing.
Falling asleep watching the football.
I always do that.
Having you visit and stay for weeks.
Watching John Wayne films, Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, Quincy and Murder She Wrote.
I miss those special times we had.
Dancing better than John Travolta.
Flirting with ALL the girls!
Smiling and talking to everyone.
I do that (well not the flirting with girls bit).
Telling me how much he missed dad and thought the world of mam.
Saying that Susan was a good lass, his bond with her was strong.
How he loved seeing Alice-Marie and her men.
Talking about Mathew, Sarah and Kevin with so much love.
I saw that.
Laughter, laughing so hard we cry.
Walking for miles with me.
Wearing hats and pulling funny faces.
I do that now.
Crying when we talked about dad.
Looking after me, asking if I was alright at mam's farewell last year.
Huge big hugs.
I so miss that.
Thank you, Uncle John Alfred, for being you, our second dad.
