Harvested Today

Trying to tidy the rapidly overgrowing veg patch. Note to self. Plant less in each raised bed. There is plenty from half the plants we put in this year, but the home-grown compost seems to make everything huge. The potatoes are ‘earlies’ and delicious. This 10kg haul came from 10 seed potatoes. The lemons are from our tree in the poly-tunnel. They are not worth using for juice because they needed more water last year, so I have grabbed them all to use the zest to make home-made limoncello. Extra is of the beans, chillies and courgettes.
