Community

Cracking afternoon on the loch with some lovely local ladies as part of a funded community programme I'm running. 

Non of these ladies had been on the water before despite living here. 2 were well into "granny" stage. 1 had young kids. 1 had pretty debilitating mobility issues and never thought she'd do anything like this again. 2 moved here just as lockdown started and know basically no-one. 

Lots of laughs. floating picnic of local strawberries cream and shortbread. new friends made. barriers smashed. moments of peace. More laughs. 
Sets the bar pretty high for the rest of the programme!
