Silver Beet

We love it, a good winter vegetable.  I went down to pick a few leaves for dinner tonight and thought it could be a blip.  Went back up to the house and got my camera.
Frosty and sunshine followed. Doug managed a decent walk this morning, I went with him....this is the best day he has had for four weeks.  Winning !
We had a hilarious facetime with Lexi this afternoon....she is right into her maths at the moment, and was busy testing Nana & Grandad, then she read us a book.  It is still school holidays over there and another week for her.  She is in a private school, they have three weeks whereas the other schools just have the two weeks.  Makes it difficult for working parents, Doug and I were meant to be there to help out but of course with Covid that wasn't going to happen.  We are hopeful to be there for the September hols.  No airline booking are open at the moment as Queensland (and other states) are exempt from the Ozzie/NZ travel bubble.
Currently watching the All Blacks playing Fiji - rugged physical rugby.  Big boys.
