The grass was greener then

When I lived in Twyford briefly we used to visit this pub sometimes on a Sunday at lunch time. As far as I remember we  sat in the beer garden and it was always warm and sunny. After a couple of beers we would walk the hundred yards or so back to my apartment and maybe watch the Grand Prix on BBC.

Well I suppose if it had not been warm and sunny we would not have been sitting outside.
