Garlic e-scapes

Every day I harvest a bit more of the garlic. I wait until the leaves are looking brown or the stem is wilted. I have entirely stopped watering them. I noticed that I must have missed a scape here and this is what happened. 
My computer is being temperamental in sympathy with the wifi which continues to be rather laggardly.
