Cheilymenia
Another thoroughly wet day here. On the plus side, all sorts of interesting fungi that I wouldn't usually see until the autumn are starting to appear, These little orange discs, looking like someone spilt some red split lentils, are appearing on the heathland. I'm reasonably confident that they are one of the Cheilymenia species, possibly the Cowpat gem (Cheilymenia granulata) or one of the eyelash cups (Cheilymenia crucipila).
