I Won't Forget My Toothbrush

I'm not one for roughing it.
I like a toilet that will flush.
I don't want to have to crouch
behind a tree or thorny bush.

I certainly have no urge to sleep
under an eiderdown of leaves.
And I really have no idea
what enforced hardship achieves?

So when I set off today
rest assured I will be heading
to a room with central heating
and a bed with crisp white bedding.
