Beauty Among the Weeds

I have no idea where this morning went. At lunchtime I decided I would watch the Wimbledon ladies singles final as I thought it would be a good match. The first set was a runaway success for Barty but then when it looked as if the 2nd set was going the same way her opponent suddenly got rid of her nerves and won it. However Barty picked up her game and won in 3.

By the time we went out for a walk it was threatening to rain. I realised I hadn't taken a photo all day and hoped something would turn up. As we crossed the road it did, as I spotted this pansy growing in the gutter.
