Foxglove

We had a good walk this afternoon around Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve and saw two of the young osprey on their nest high up in an old fir tree. The warden thinks they will fly tomorrow (a third sibling flew yesterday). They will still return to the nest to be fed for some time yet though.

As the reserve is a peat bog, the habitat is ideal for damselflies and dragonflies. They were everywhere. The foxgloves were lovely too.
