Before the rain..

Early light across the Waiheke channel before the very welcome rain came in later in the morning. This is the view from where we stayed at our friend's place at Orapiu, Waiheke Island, looking east towards Rotoroa Island and in the distance the Coromandel Peninsula. What a fabulous weekend - lots of good food and wine and great company. I have to say I much prefer the remote end of the island, rather than Oneroa, Onetangi etc.

I've had to Back-Blip the last two days, Friday and Saturday.
