Gardening for my sister
It was an early start this morning. I’m not a morning person, so it was far too early for my liking haha
We headed up to my sister’s today. Albie greeted us at the door :) He’s back to his usual mischievous self! It’s so great to see him back to normal.
My Mum and my sister went off to Dunelm. Albie wasn’t too happy about that haha. I took him for a walk and we finally got to see a bit more of the path that goes along the river. We got to a sort of t-junction. I didn’t really know where we were, but decided to take a left. We actually came out onto the bottom end of the estate, so it was easy to find the way back. Of course I gave Albie lots of treats haha I’m glad he wanted to go further, but he was practically running, so obviously I had to go faster too! We were both a bit worn out when he got back.
Albie had a quick nap. I was watching James Martin’s Saturday Morning cooking show. Something woke Albs up. He climbed over me and was looking out the window. I got up to look too. There was nothing there, but he wanted to stay in the window. We stood there for ages! Eventually we sat back down and he went back to sleep. My Mum and my sister coming back woke him up. He was very happy they were back.
I made a start in the garden. I cleared one area. It was all weeds and random things my sister didn’t want. There was bare earth when I’d finished. Albie came along, started digging and decided to lay in the earth. He was filthy! I picked him up and took him in. My sister stopped what she was doing and watched him, so he wouldn’t do it again. That didn’t last long! Albie was back in the garden and wanted to play ball. Every now and then I’d throw it for him. He kept laying in the earth and getting very muddy haha
My Mum had come out to garden as well. We cleared a whole boarder and moved onto the next. Everything was coming out apart from the Apple tree. We got everything out apart from the Blackcurrent bush. It had obviously been there a long time. It didn’t want to budge! We all had a go at digging it out. Albie was getting in the way, so I took him inside. Eventually they got it out. It was quite hot at this point, so we stopped for an ice lolly and a drink.
It was getting late, so we just cleared up the mess we’d made and headed home. I said bye bye to Albie and he did a little twirl and jumped up at me, so I picked him up for huggles (hugs & cuddles)
Had some supper when we got home and then headed to bed. Just watching Casualty now :)
