Little Bitty

Fungi called Fluted Bird's Nest Fungus, Cyathus striatus.  Aren't they adorable for a fungus?  Some of them even look like they have eggs in them.  They are about the size of half of my smallest fingernail.   I discovered them while weeding in the backyard.  We spent 5 hours out there and made a dent.  I contemplated bribing my neighbor to pull out his untamed 10' tall privet hedge because our yard is full of seedlings, courtesy of the birds.  Nah...
