Madera Canyon Day Two

I have struggled to get hummingbirds in flight since I've been here so I've decided to settled for what I could get, which was this rufous hummingbird perched on a feeder.  It's the only one of its species here at the moment - about a month earlier than would be expected.

I've temporarily turned off comments because I would like to post all of my blips through Saturday (when I had a bear encounter), as long as the internet we got today holds out. I'm sitting on my porch listening and watching a thunderstorm rolling in. The wind is picking up so I'm going inside. (Here comes the rain and I am gonna lose that internet!)
