Big Win

Major back-blip! :))

Well, the biggest thing about this Wednesday was the England/Denmark football match. We got to Carter's early and got our usual table. There was a good atmosphere in the pub. It was late with us, so we were really hoping they wouldn't go into extra time, but they did. Fortunately, it was the outcome we had hoped for, so, very happy England fans left the venue. I enjoy watching with other people but could do without the smell of cigarettes!

Prior to that, I spent much of the afternoon working on correcting captions for module two of Machine Learning. Interesting stuff! We met up with a German acquaintance based in Ras Al Khaimah. Petra has numerous cats and dogs in her villa and has lots of stories to tell!

We had a Zoom meeting with our new SA officers to plan the next few days; they have decided to travel back to Dubai for a week, and the new cleaner came and did his thing, so we are ready for the weekend!
