What a joy to spend time with Bella, the five week old daughter of a dear friend. She was so alert and full of giggles and smiles.

Kai was entranced by her - "She is sooo beautiful, Mummy", he whispered to me when she finally fell asleep in my arms.

On our way home he asked me, 'I'd like to have a baby sister, Mummy, can we get one?'
