Braving the wind from the east

The weather has not enticed me outdoors very much today. But maintaining both 100% and at least some sort of exercise got me down to the Southend mudflats where I came across a solitary Tuturiwhatu in alternative plumage. I was unable to get really close so this is with the bridge camera on maximal optical zoom.
