A New Challenge - Introduce Yourself.

Anyone who has been a member of this lovely community for any length of time will know that there are two kinds of blippers.

There are those who are quite happy to include their own face in their journal regularly and then there’s the rest of us…the ones who avoid being photographed at all cost!

In a world full of selfies, it seems that blippers are quite a shy group of people. We’re happy to share our innermost thoughts, the highs and lows of our daily life and even meet up in person.

But ask us to pose for a photo…

So here’s our next challenge should you wish to accept it.
Throughout July and August, we are running the Introduce Yourself Challenge where we ask you to post a self portrait, in one form or another.

Our initial thought was that we ask you to post a “revealing self portrait”, but then we realised that might be asking for trouble!
When we say revealing, we would like the portrait to unveil something about you that perhaps we don’t know. This might be your profession, an aspect of your personality, a hobby or skill - past or present.

It could be a literal self-portrait, but we’d also encourage you to capture or construct an image that represents you in some way. You don’t actually need to feature on the photo.

We will run this challenge until the 31st August to give you plenty of time.

Once you’ve uploaded your image, please tag it #BCIntroduce so that we can all check out your work and join in the fun.

If you would like to share your ‘Introduce Yourself Challenge' images, please tag a maximum of two journal entries #BCIntroduce before 31st August 2021.
