As Big As Your Head
I like seed heads and the Agapanthus is a great example. They are big - about the size of a human head, and are wonderfully architectural.
There are many thousands of these in this part of Queensland - and they spread prolifically, often escaping from one garden to another.
I went to an Irish celebration in Finbar's pub in Maleny today. Apparently, 30% of the Australian population has some Irish blood in them.
