comfort food

a great way to start the day but cold comfort after yesterday's dismantling of england by wales!
the trick to eating this sandwich is to hold it vertically - it's not a pretty sight as the baked beans and egg yolk tend to spill down one's fingers (my wife tends to find a lot of interest in the garden at this stage), but it's the only way to eat it!
miserable weather so a good excuse to read the papers and look forward to roast chicken with fennel (new recipe) and treacle tart - more comfort!
