....home from our UK cruise, unpacked and settling down with a box of chocs and catching up with tennis :-)
Feeling so lucky to have enjoyed a safe holiday where the crew were happy to be back doing what they do best after their 16 month break !
The food was delicious, the wine free flowing and the entertainment was brilliant.... so much so that a surprise guest ...Shirley Ballas ...arrived on stage to applaud the cast on the last night. What an uplifting endorsement for the lovely singers and dancers.

100 NHS staff and their partners enjoyed the trip courtesy of the cruise line and it was wonderful to raise a glass to toast them - twas emotional all round. How do we ever really thank them ? Xxx

Excursions took us to Kent for a vintage steam train ride and Liverpool where we immersed ourselves in the Beatles experience at Albert Dock . Took a drive along Penny Lane and passed Strawberry fields with our tour guide providing the music to match :-)
As we sailed away for home that evening we could see the Gormley figures proudly guarding Crosby beach.
We played roulette and won, attended an art auction but didn’t buy ....relaxed in the spa..........and watched England win !

It truly felt like the start of something normal.....being with people.... good times are coming :-)
