Honeysuckle

The weather returned to sunny and it was back to the garden. This honeysuckle has climbed all the way up to the roof of our house. Indeed, most of the flowers are right at the top, and this picture was taken from a ladder, at roof level. I spent several hours pulling out the dead section and discouraging it from growing into the roof.  This autumn I think we'll cut it back quite drastically and let it start again, flowering at a level where we can appreciate it.
Finished the working day with a swim in the local lake. A long cool float, studying a pure blue sky, followed by a beer on the warm rocks.
