Baby great-spotted woodpecker on the elder wand in the garden. I do love his vibrant red hat.

Hugely busy in the garden weeding the flower beds which have rampaging bindweed so it has to be dug out. The task seems big because the patio excavations have exposed parts of the beds which have never seen the light of day before so I can actually get at them. Very satisfying.
