Under the Brolly!
What a clever girl she is :-)
I couldn't write much yesterday due to lack of wifi and couldn't use the phone for calls either.
Anyway, although last nights mooring was really lovely, surrounded by countryside and so peaceful, it was not peaceful inside the boat! We had a plague of common house flies. We spent the whole afternoon and evening swatting! I know - it's not like me to kill things but it was horrendous. We couldn't eat in peace, or read or do anything without them buzzing round us and landing on our food or on us. The day was very hot and clammy yet we ended up having to close all the windows and the doors, we were sweltering. I think we swatted 30- 40 flies!
This morning we went just a couple of miles further on - to Pollington Lock and there are no flies. Peace!
Did the washing and got it all dry outside.
Went to the village pub for a drink.
Played ukulele on the back deck while Frank watched tennis.
Now watching the footie and it's already 1-0 to England!
Both teams are (by all accounts) excellent, so may the best team win. I do hope it's our team though!
Goodnight!
