Rockpools and Otters

The day started with a Banana, Jam and Honey sandwich, after which we set out to explore some rockpools.  CyclopsJnr was pretty excited when we found a small blenny and transferred it to a smaller pool to observe (see extra) before returning it to its own pool.

After lunch we played Mancala and Monopoly before going fishing.

No luck with the fish (we caught one small Pollack each which we returned) but we did see two otters off the north side of the island, just diving, coming back to the surface to eat their catch, and diving again.  Beautiful.

Later we had a Lego Ninjas comic together, played Giraffes in Scarves, and toasted more marshmallows...
