Mum & Child

We did our customary walk to Killingworht Lake today to check on the avian "infants". Grebes, coots & cygnets were all doing well - this was our favourite shot of them.

The model boat enthusiasts were out in force too, one of whom was sailing a high-speed catamaran which we'd not seen before - gosh could it move! There's a couple of shots in the extras: I confess that the 2nd extra (the "panned" shot) was mocked up in Photoshop as my actual panning attempts weren't too successful.
