Wemyss railway platform

This station was the departure point for ferry trips to Rothesay, on Bute, built in the Victorian days when folk valued a holiday jaunt and cheap airline flights were unavailable. Hence, it was an enormous station and platform, beautifully constructed, used by tens of thousand, but out of all proportion to present day needs. Loved it.
