The Party Goes On

Mr S's birthday weekend culminated in barbequed ribs and carrot cake. At the last minute I decided that exhaling all over the candles on the cake wasn't a very Covid-worthy idea, so we sang louder to make up for it. The weather was perfect for eating outside, the family was in good form, and the food was excellent if I do say so myself.

You know you've reached a certain age when one of your gifts is an extra handrail installed on the back stairs! My son put it up in minutes and we've both used it happily many times already.
