Flapping

We had another walk at Bortons Ponds this afternoon. Chilly, calm and patchy sunshine: which was perfect for an hour and a half's briskness.

I am confident that Jeanie won't wander far without me, but every now and again I test her recall when she's out of sight. She bounds back to me, wagging happily. 

Extras: birdlife on the ponds (black swans, brown teal, NZ scaup and mallard); and there were great reflections today.
