One of the lucky ones

As of today only 11.2% of Australians over the age of 16 have received both Covid-19 vaccination shots. Thankfully, both my better half and I are within that 11.2%. However, some of our younger loved ones are not and we worry about them, particularly since most of them live in Sydney.

The Delta variant is spreading exponentially throughout the most populated areas of NSW, including Greater Sydney. Lockdown restrictions are becoming more severe every day as the virus is out-running the wonderful track and trace teams. Our strongest defence against this variant is missing - double dose vaccination. From all the evidence and informed commentary about why this is so, it seems pretty clear that our federal government has let us down horribly. Will they ever be forgiven? Who knows. It's amazing what electors forget when it comes time for the ballot box. I've got a good memory.
