The best day out for ages.
Picked up early in the electric mini. Volunteering at a junior parkrun. Scanning the little people who had finished and encouraging them to throw their tokens into a bucket on a stick straight after.
Post run coffee with Martin and Rachel.
Rachel was very excited to find the chrome extension and see how many volunteering badges she had.
Next stop was a visit with Joan (Easter MIL) who made us tea and toast.
Then we headed to Hatfield House the (not)Westminster Mile. We laughed at how far from the start we were parked (more than a mile) and enjoyed a chat with the Ugandan crew (parkrunners we met before) and several others we knew before we co pleted our mile.
