Bunsen Café ...

. ..... ..... ..... at the Christchurch Arts Centre. I had coffee here today with a much missed friend.

The Arts Centre was badly damaged in the 2011 & 2012 quakes, and is still being repaired. So much of Christchurch is still being repaired and I found it distressing to see much still looking like a war zone. The beautiful Catholic Cathedral has been levelled and the rebuild will start sometime soon.

I found the City Art Depot, and they’re in the process of stretching & framing an Aboriginal painting from Kiwikurra in the Western Desert that I brought back in 2019. They’ll have it finished for me to take back home on Wednesday!
