Ardkinglas glen

We decided to have a day out just the two of us today . A picnic at Ardkinglas woodland garden was the chosen place and it was just lovely.
Just at the entrance to the garden we saw a red squirrel in the tree which was a delight- there is an extra photo including it , but it's a bit blurred.
It was good to catch up with ourselves and each other and be able to make some plans. Life has been difficult these last months with family illness and concerns but it was very good to be out in such beautiful countryside. I liked the old mill and the shapes light and shadow made by what remains of the walls. There is another extra photo from there for our record.
