Around the World

Today I took a flying visit around the world, curtesy of the World Garden at Lullingstone Castle in Kent. 

The garden was designed by the modern day plant hunter Tom Hart Dyke, and current heir to the castle (actually a large country house and estate). It contains plants, some rare, from around the world planted up in beds whose shapes represent the area of origin.  Even so, it is surprising how many familiar garden plants you can see.
