Idyllic

My reading spot today in the garden, a picnic rug in the shade of a silver birch tree.

It has been a really gorgeous day, warm and sunny. I’ve got plenty of reading material on my kindle, mostly set in the south of France, but my own back garden is the place I love best!

Saying that, there may be an opportunity to have a little glass of wine and some cheese in an hour or two, as a nod to the setting of my books.

In other pleasant news, I think that my hearing is improving in my left ear; I can hear some birdsong now!
