In Shadows
Sunlight through filtered cloud prevented the light on the water from becoming unmanageably bright. Although I bracketed shots to allow for bringing up shadow detail, I actually preferred the mystery created by only showing not so dim features.
It also appealed to me to have an image divided in two, contrasting bright, rippled water against dark trees.
The result seemed to continue yesterday's theme of things being on a cusp, or in transition, between two states.
