Suprise spooked

Went collecting today. In another coastal scrubby area. looking mainly for fallen flora to experemint with some of the new skills and ideas that have come from recent workshop.
Well there was another purpose also: to give my pooch "enrichment" time. She loves nothing better than scurriering through the bush, interesting and new smells, with me in hearing if not sight. I enjoy it too. When I loose sight of her I call, she finds me.
Mostly scrubby salt bush, dry, dense, lowishe hardy plant life. Then I come to a slight opening and this little parasite oasis is thriving!
How weird that I thought of Stephen king's "pet cemetry". Ha, felt a bit spooked for a moment, called dog and moved away.
