A sun worshipper

A lovely day ..... temperature over 20° and plenty of sunshine to enjoy when taking Poppy for a walk in Pollok Park.

Water lilies love sunshine and look their best when the petals open so that we might see their sunny yellow centre. The lilies
grow in a very small pond in the park so there are never more than about three of these beauties at any one time.
