Early morning rain today and as the sun came out the raindrops looked pretty.

It was horrible this morning to hear of the racist abuse to the three young players who missed penalties last night.  They must have known it was coming and still stood up to the challenge.  It is also shameful that the PM effectively condoned it at the start of the tournament and is now outraged!

I woke up this morning still feeling disappointed but this is a young team, and they will have taken a lot from that experience.  When you think about it, Italy didn't beat us, they drew after 120 minutes of play and then won the lottery.
