This plant, when mono, looks slightly alien-like? That’s my version. :)

Busy day, one meeting to another. This afternoon hubby and I paid our respects (via online viewing) to a friend we have known since teenage years. Having met at youth club, he was our best man at our wedding and our children spent their younger years together. His first marriage ended and he remarried, building a business for himself having qualified as a psychotherapist. He had just turned 60 then a sudden end to his life. (We are the same age). Taken too soon. Although we didn’t see him often, used to share birthday and Christmas cards, it was still such a shock for us. (Extra of him in his youthful days). Rest in peace x

My tonic and pick me up tonight, meeting up with the lace ladies :)
