Flying Away!

After a day of teaching I took a shuttle to the airport and am waiting to board a plane to Santa Rosa, CA. My husband will pick me up and we’ll spend the next few days enjoying ourselves in Napa Valley.

It’s very odd…being at the airport. But there are a lot of people here and we all have to wear masks since it’s a federal regulation. Great fun to be traveling again!

This is Hibiscus syriacus ‘Fiji‘ or Fiji Rose of Sharon. It’s just started blooming and I caught it early this am after the irrigation watered the garden.
