Bellingham Festival Chamber Concert

This evening we were treated to two pieces for strings and clarinet. Laura Arden, principal clarinetist of the Atlanta Symphony, who also happens to be the Festival Orchestra’s clarinet player, joined the principals of the string sections in a new piece by Nikitas Demos and the Mozart Clarinet String Quintet. Brilliant playing and wonderful music. Demos attended the concert and took a bow after the musicians played his clarinet string sextet. That’s him in this photo with Arden.
