A light lunch…

A lot of rain today and a month’s rain fell on London in the evening causing huge flooding.  My neighbour asked me to a light lunch with a friend of my mother which, two days before going away,  led to a bit of a pile up in the diary.  That said I waded through the lake on the lane, clutching two pots of Heuchera, ate delicious chicken salad, chatted lightly about tennis before wading back to a call with Netflix.  Surreal.
