This “nature reserve” is neither well known nor frequently tended. I suspected the buddleias would be well advanced (mine aren’t) but there wasn’t enough sunshine for the usual array of butterflies. 

It’s gloriously overgrown but this morning didn’t feel very safe. 

I popped in on my way home from Lidl. They seem so careful in terms of sanitising, masks and social distancing. They are friendly too. It’s the Lichfield branch and I gather the one in Walsall is horrid.
