The Cubbington Pear

Its parent was chopped down for the HS2 railway after growing for 250 years , there was much debate to save it.
There has been too much devastation around here involving this railway. So many areas of beauty destroyed and too many trees . It's had buildings destroyed and villages affected.is it worth it?
