Shore Juniper

Galbuli (female cones, 'fruits' or 'berries') have formed on a couple of Shore Juniper plants (Juniperus rigida var. conferta) - one grown as a cutting from part of the other - in our back garden.

As none of the three Shore Junipers in our collection had produced cones before, it was impossible up till now to know whether any of the three plants were males or females. Now everything has become clear!
