Tillicoultry Community garden.

Took Chloe through to see Julie for a wash, trim and blow dry! While she was being groomed we had a walk round the Community garden. It really is a lovely wee , peaceful place to spend some time , and has “The Awfuls” ( as E used to say) as a backdrop. (The Ochils )

On the way back to the car we met a lady of 80 who had just treated herself to a greenhouse. She was busy putting soil etc into a skip in her drive. She told us her husband had asked for a divorce when she was 69 and she had since moved to Tillicoultry. She certainly impressed us with her energy and determination. She also very kindly gave me a perennial osteospermum for my garden.

Once home , friends popped in for a cuppa and left with some plants from our garden.
