Mixed day today…

It’s LDC’s mum’s birthday today and she’s been spoilt, as you usually do: presents, big cake, meal out….

In the middle of the afternoon, I got a phone call from a cousin of mine. Her mum had just passed away, aged 93. She was my mum's older sister. They were really close. Even if I wanted to go to her funeral, I would not have been able to due to quarantine laws in Italy. :-(
